Bryant spent the first 4 years of his professional career as an R&D engineer of a major medical device company and has more recently worked in digital marketing. Arman carries three years of professional experience working in the medical device industry. He has studied a number of peripheral vascular disorders, and was involved in global market research projects in Europe, Colombia and Brazil. His passions include learning languages, watching and playing soccer, and creating content that accurately portrays complex information to large audiences. He is an aspiring primary care physician.
Andrew Peter

Teaching has always been a foundation for Andrew. Throughout his education and educator positions, he has acted on the belief that society benefits when knowledge is shared. He will be graduating with his MD in May 2019 from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, after which he will enter a residency in Pediatrics. When he has free time, he continues to indulge in books, soccer, or spending time with friends.
Our Mission
With modern medical practice and state of the art technology, even some of the most debilitating conditions can be greatly improved at the hands of the proper specialist. Still, many patients receive sub-optimal care. The reasons for this are complex: treatments are always changing, the evidence is always evolving, and most medical professionals are managing several different diseases simultaneously; leaving them little time to stay up to date with the latest methods.
Regardless of the reasons, the continuous evolution of medicine has given rise to antiquated referral patterns - for example, patients still receive an open surgery when they would fare better with minimally invasive interventions. What's more, patient's do not have access to the information they need to choose the right provider, and the provider that a patient chooses ultimately determines the quality of care that a patient receives.
At OnChart, we believe that education is the key to preventing unnecessary hysterectomies, amputations, and other antiquated treatment approaches, which is why we work with medical specialists to advocate for treatments that are supported by quality evidence. We know that better clinical decisions translate into better patient care, and we believe that clinical decisions can be greatly improved through more accessible information.
