Digital Marketing Associate Role

​

Our digital marketing associate will work across all of OnChart’s digital services to help our clients grow their online presence and drive new business. You’ll get exposure to various digital marketing channels, learn how to work with them, and develop an appreciation for where they fit into the growth marketing equation. Responsibilities include:

Website Management

 

• Implement new pages and content updates in Wordpress and Wix

• Curate stock photos and graphics

• Utilize on-page SEO best practices

• Suggest website upgrades to improve user experience and increase conversion activity

​

Search Engine Optimization

 

• Utilize SEO tools, including SEMRush and Ahrefs, to inform content strategy

• Optimize web pages for target keywords

 

Social Media

 

• Manage social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others

• Draft and schedule social media posts with Hootsuite, Buffer, and similar programs

 

Content Management

 

• Repurpose / rewrite editorial content for new applications

• Write promotional copy for website, social media, and other online listings

 

Digital Partnerships

 

• Identify and qualify backlink opportunities

• Manage communications with content partners

• Manage online business listings

 

Requirements

​

• Freelancer, side hustler, or year 4+ college student studying marketing or related field

• Self-starter capable of delivering on tasks with limited oversight

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Insane attention to detail

• Process-oriented and organized

• Interest in digital marketing

Commitment

​

• Flexible: 10 to 15 hours per week with potential to increase to full time role
